Sauna wood oil

SAUNA OIL TREATMENT

​Puijon Terva sauna treatment oil is designed to protect and finish the wooden surfaces of a sauna, such as benches, walls, and ceilings. Before using the oil, it is recommended to treat the surfaces with Puijon Terva sauna stain, which is a solvent-based staining agent. The resin and linseed oil contained in the stain create a durable finish in demanding conditions.

Instructions for Use:

1.     Pre-treatment: Clean the surface to be treated of previous or other surface treatment agents. Sand the surface with sandpaper and remove sanding dust.

2.     Staining: Shake the sauna stain thoroughly before use. Apply the stain with a brush or cotton rag. Remove excess material a few minutes after treatment with a cotton rag. To achieve a darker and more durable surface, treat the surface twice, sanding lightly between coats.

3.     Finishing: Allow the stained surface to dry for a few hours. After this, finish the sauna benches with Puijon Terva sauna bench treatment agent.

Sauna treatment oil provides wooden surfaces with protection against moisture and dirt, while preserving the natural appearance of the wood and extending its lifespan.
